SF Surfrider Foundation’s 3rd Annual “Message in a Bottle” | SF
Message in a Bottle is a grassroots community art event full of ocean themed art, installations, and activities for all ages, inspired by the ocean and marine plastic pollution.
The event features an inspiring assortment of art and educational installations that were created by nationally recognized artists and environmentalists.

All 3 days are free and open to the public, but an RSVP is required for Friday’s opening party.Schedule:
February 23, 6 pm to 10 pm
February 24-25, 10 am to 2 pm
Join the celebration for the 2018 grand opening night of Message in a Bottle, packed with ocean themed art, installations, tacos, and local microbrews from Lagunitas, Magnolia, Fort Point and Wawona. Be sure to bring your own cup or purchase an official Surfrider Foundation Kleen Kanteen stainless steel pint cup for beverages.
Get your groove on with funk band The Ha and DJ Combsy. Plus, the theatre will be open with showings of Straws, It Ain’t Pretty and other stunning films. Plus, although the website doesn’t mention it, in the press information they sent to us, they mentioned there would be a Silent Disco (we’re not sure if it’s still scheduled, but we hope so).
