Awesöme Orchestra | Epic Free Classical Concerts
Awesöme Orchestra brings people together for musical adventures. Their free sessions are part performance, part open rehearsal. They provide the sheet music, and anyone is welcome to play or to listen.
The Awesöme Orchestra Collective is the Bay Area’s most adventurous reading orchestra, dedicated to playing excellent orchestral music of all kinds with amazing musicians in a fun, casual environment focused on high musicianship. Their events are always free, but they ask for a pay-what-you-will donation to help cover basic costs.
Who’s ready for the Gustav takeover this Saturday? Join in for Session 57 at San Francisco’s Public Library Main Branch this Saturday, May 26th from 2-5pm.
They’ll be playing in the side courtyard outside the Fulton St. entrance so bring your sunglasses and don’t forget to layer up. Seating is very limited at this venue, so come early if you want to snag a spot.
If it looks like rain, our backup location will be Sports Basement in Berkeley. They’lld give 48 hours notice of a venue change via Facebook. If you don’t hear from them, then it means they’re on for the SFPL.
