Presidio Free Programs: Talks, Music & Performances | SF

San Francisco’s tradition of diverse cultural expression started at the Presidio, and continues today with events that enlighten, engage, and entertain, taking place at the Presidio Officers’ Club.

Enjoy topical discussions, live music, dance, and interactive family activities, all free to the public and sponsored by the Presidio Trust, in partnership with cultural institutions from across the Bay Area.

B3LLA performs piano repertoire ranging from thorny modern mavericks to beloved bulwarks of classical music with sensitivity that is guaranteed to stir your depths.

Free, but an RSVP is required.

The B3LLA Piano Trio, founded in 2009, has become one of San Francisco’s most exciting emerging ensembles. The members have studied at Juilliard, Yale, Harvard, and Indiana’s Jacobs School of Music. The trio has worked with pianist Gilbert Kalish, violinist Mark Steinberg of the Brentano String Quartet, Don and Vivian Weilerstein, and Joel Krosnick of the Juilliard String Quartet as residents of the Banff Chamber Music Program under the directorship of Barry Shiffman.

B3LLA was a semi-finalist at the 2012 Concert Artist Guild Competition and a Showcase Ensemble for the 2013 Chamber Music America National Conference. They maintain a House Salon Series and work with community partners such as the Harvard Club of San Francisco, the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, and neighborhood artists and galleries.
