Make some tamales and trades at Phat Beets Produce’s free “Backyard Crop Swap & Oaxaca Tamale Workshop” on Saturday, August 6 at the North Oakland Farmers Market.
RSVP to max@phatbeetsproduce.org to take advantage of bartering, swapping and trading your hive’s honey for homemade treats, as well as a free two-hour tamale workshop at 11 a.m., where Carolina of Tamales Oaxaca will teach you how to make this scrumptious street food from scratch.
