American Tripps: Berlin-Style Ping Pong Party
American Tripps Berlin-Style Ping Pong Parties are a really fun social ping pong game where upwards of 20 people can play at the same time in a musical chairs-style knockout competition.
It’s super laid back fun (many people play with beer in hand) and is usually played to a pumping DJ.
You can try to borrow a paddle, but it’s best to bring your own.
Come out to D-Structure on August 24, 2012, for American Tripp’s monthly rager in the Lower Haight and play some Berlin-style ping pong.
Jams this time come courtesy of Nihar and Jason P (both of Haçeteria and Warm Leatherette) and they promise positive synth vibes. Come party.
About Berlin-Style Ping Pong
Don’t expect your typical one-on-one matches though, as this strange German version of table tennis involves multiple players moving chaotically around the table in a big circle. Check out footage of this weird version of ping pong to get an idea of what you’ll see.
