Bike to Work Day 2013
On Bike to Work Day, May 9, 2013, the San Francisco, East Bay and Silicon Valley Bicycle Coalitions encourage commuters to leave their cars at home and join tens of thousands of their fellow Bay Area residents in biking to work.
Morning and afternoon energizer stations will be set up to offer free coffee, snacks and other goodies. You’ll also be treated to special parties, discounts, free bike repairs and other happenings in neighborhoods across the Bay Area.
The San Francisco Bicycle Coalition hosts the most robust Bike to Work Day event in the Bay Area with over 25 Energizer Stations, free bike checkups, parties, raffles and giveaways to celebrate biking in San Francisco.

Volunteers will cheer on people riding bikes around San Francisco at 26 official Energizer Stations. Each station is providing free donated snacks and beverages, as well as convenient reusable tote bags for future commutes filled with goodies. Join the nearly 300 SF Bicycle Coalition Member-Volunteers in celebrating San Francisco’s largest bike event of the year. Volunteers help out in the morning, brightening commutes with free coffee, or in the afternoon, cheering folks on as they bike home. But why wait until May to get involved?
