One Billion Rising 2014: Flashmob to End Violence Against Women

One Billion Rising 2014: Flashmob to End Violence Against Women | SF City Hall

On Friday, February 14, 2014, one billion women and those who love them will walk out, dance, rise up and demand an end to violence against women and girls.

One Billion Rising For Justice is a call to survivors to break the silence and release their stories – politically, spiritually, outrageously – through art, dance, marches, ritual, song, spoken word, testimonies and whatever way feels right.

Join Mayor Edwin M. Lee, apl.de.ap of the Black Eyed Peas, taiko dancers along with hundreds of San Franciscans, DJs, special guests, local organizations and businesses, community groups, families, friends and neighbors for a flashmob dance in front of city hall to raise awareness and help end the cycle of violence against women and girls.
