Bissap Baobab is celebrating 18 years of food, culture and community. Join in to celebrate the occasion on Friday, August 26, 2016 for Bissap Baobab’s 18th Anniversary Summer Sidewalk Party.
The sidewalk party kicks off at 6 pm. Bissap Baobab’s All-Star Resident DJs Santero (Africa Caliente, Latin/Afro-Caribean Dance), Patrick Wilson (Element, Soulful AfroHouse Music) and Stepwise (Kulcha Latino, Reggae/Dancehall/Latin Reggae) will be spinning on the 1s & 2s outdoors from 6 – 9 pm followed by live music by Samba Guisse & his band Cheikh Ndiguel Fall.
Afterward, stick around; there will be an AfroCuba Afterparty from 10 -1:30 am with DJs Leydis and K-La-V (African / Latin / Reggae) with no cover.
