Event Details

You don’t have to have walked on the moon to have a great story. Sometimes the most mundane experiences make the best stories. Their workshops teach you how to tell a personal true life story in front of a live audience. They will cover storytelling basics and not-so-basics, including how to hook an audience, building interest and suspense, techniques for adding color, humor, and pathos, and delivering a powerful ending.

They’ll also talk about what it’s like to perform in front of a live audience, and provide tools and advice for storytelling like a champ while having fun. After all, if you’re not having fun telling your story, you might as well be taking a public speaking class.

Never told a story before? Think that your experiences aren’t interesting or funny enough? Never fear. Nearly 100 storytellers have graced the stage, including introverts and many who have never done it before.

Free but an RSVP is required.
