Watch some of the brightest high school geeks in the Bay Area pit their home-made autonomous robots (no remote controls allowed) against each other in the Northern California “BotBall” tournament in San Jose.

NASA Ames Research Center, N152 Conference Building, Moffett Field
FREE to watchUnlike robot wars you’ve seen on TV, at these live battles, the robots aren’t trying to destroy each other; instead they compete by performing various tasks which are judged for speed and accuracy.
But during the head-to-head competition, the evil geniuses can program their robots to sabotage their competitors.
2017 Event Schedule:
- 8 am Registration Begins
- 10 am Seeding Rounds Begins
- 2 pm Double Elimination Begins
- 5:30 pm Awards Presentation
Getting there: The gate to enter for the tournament will be different than that of the workshop due to construction at the facility. Everyone will be directed to come in to Moffett Field from the Ellis St exit on the freeway, one stop south of the Moffett exit. People need to have a drivers license and tell the guard they are coming to the conference center, N152, for the Botball Tournament.
