The inimitable and always entertaining Kevin Smokler returns to the Booksmith for the launch of his new book, Brat Pack America: A Love Letter to 80s Teen Movies and the Places They Happened.
Kevin Smokler attended Goonies Day in Astoria, Oregon, took a Lost Boys tour of Santa Cruz, California, and visited retro arcades, movie theaters, record stores, and the Dirty Dancing resort in Lake Lure, NC. He interviewed actors, writers, and directors. Mostly, he did what he does best, which is to add his keen and witty commentary to the conversation about American Culture.
