British Electropop “Little Boots” Live Instore Concert at Amoeba | SF

Little Boots is also known as British electropop singer-songwriter Victoria Hesketh, formerly the lead singer and keyboardist of Dead Disco. What started off as a webcam project eventually led to homepage exposure on YouTube, racking up more than 250,000 views overnight. Claiming Little Boots as her moniker (the Latin name Caligula translates as “Little Boot”), Hesketh eventually became one of the most blogged about artists of 2009.

Her full-length debut, Hands (out March 2nd), is overflowing with sparkling, heartfelt, ’80s-influenced dance pop.
