Car-Free Sundays On Telegraph: Music & Outdoor Market | Berkeley

Sundays on Telegraph closes Telegraph Avenue to cars between Durant Avenue and Dwight Way, and opens it to restaurant seating, music, street vendors, and more from noon to 5 pm, July 19 to August 30, 2015.

Come enjoy the beautiful weather, food, crafts, and everything else that Telegraph has to offer. Plus, your first hour of parking in the Telegraph-Channing Garage is free.

  • Craig Browning Jazz Group playing jazz classics
  • Cal Band: UC Berkeley’s straw hat marching band. It is one of the oldest college marching bands on the West Coast with over 100 years of tradition.
  • Break Dance Cypher ft DJ O Aces: Come watch dancers spin, jump, pop, lock, and freeze. DJ O Aces will be playing an eclectic mix of old school and new jams to get down to.
  • Cal Raijin Taiko: UC Berkeley’s Taiko drumming organization
  • Manning Fiddle Showcase: In the Haste intersection
    1-2pm: Chad Manning with Jim Nunally and Steve Pottier playing bluegrass and more
    2-2:45pm: Student showcase
    2:45-3:30pm: ALL Manning Music students
