Joe McGinniss Jr. presents Carousel Court, a novel about Nick and Phoebe Maguire, a couple who has recently moved from Boston to Los Angeles in search of a fresh start for themselves and their infant son.

Both naïve in their actions and victims of the recent economic crisis, they quickly become broke and desperate to claw their way back into the middle class where they feel they belong. Plotted in secret but under the same roof, their separate agendas soon collide in spectacular fashion and leave them both wondering what the other is capable of.
