The show, which can best be described Rent, but with a teenage circus angle, or as a homegrown handcrafted hip-hop version of Cirque du Soliel, also features legendary breakdancers Iron Monkey & Finesse.

Potingue latin-flamenco ensemble is spicing up CMC¹s Mission branch every first Wednesday of the month with original compositions in the Cuban charanga tradition and popular favorites such as Manisero and Moliendo Café. While this is a highly danceable program, we welcome dancers and non-dancers alike. Program info: This 12-piece ensemble is lead by Chus Alonso and features Venezuelan vocalist, Rennea Couttenye (pictured). Potingue will put on this free concert at CMC every first Wednesday of the month through June, 2008: April 2nd, May 7th, and June 4th.
