Central Market Now: Monthly Arts Showcase | SF

Central Market Now activates, promotes & celebrates the local Arts and businesses in the Central Market neighborhood – every second Friday. The event features open houses, free performances, exhibits, and merchant promotions monthly.

Flyaway Productions aerial dance company will premier their new, site-specific dance in the Tenderloin Neighborhood of SF, bringing attention to the older homeless women who inhabit our streets, seeking refuge. UC Hastings College of the Law has offered up its 80-foot wall to host performances on September 12-20, 2014.

On Friday there will be two shows at 8 pm and 9 pm. There will be a 6 pm reception at the Alumni Reception Center, 2nd Floor of 200 McAllister St (at Hyde St), where  award-winning journalist Rose Aguilar will be in Q&A with SAFEhouse for the Performing Arts director Joe Landini. Ethiopian appetizers are available by generous donation of MOYA restaurant.
