2014 Chamber Music Seminar and Festival | SF State

The annual free Yehudi Menuhin Chamber Music Seminar and Festival takes place at SF State from Thursday, February 13, 2014 – Sunday, February 16, 2014.

Free, but tickets are required.

This special event incorporates concerts and a seminar for ensembles of all ages, advancing the belief that music has the power to create understanding and transcend differences between people.

Concerts take place at the Creative Arts Building, Knuth Hall.

Sunday Final Concert | 2014 Chamber Music Seminar and Festival | SF State

The final gala concert, featuring performances of seminar participants and the announcement of the Galante Prize, will take place Sunday, February 16, 2014 at 7 pm.

Free, but tickets are required.

Some of the outstanding ensembles applying to join the seminar hail from as far afield as London’s Guildhall School of Music and Drama, the Glenn Gould School at Toronto’s Royal Conservatory and New York’s The Juilliard School.
