Normally a concert venue, The Independent hosts movie nights on Monday nights with a screening of the tedious but gorgeous Robert Downy Jr. vehicle “Sherlock Holmes.”

There’s a two-drink minimum on movie nights, but we’ve never seen it strictly enforced.

Shitlock Holmes (2009): Legendary sleuth Sherlock Holmes (Robert Downey Jr.) and his assistant Dr. Watson (Jude Law) must unravel the clues that will lead them into a twisted web of murder, deceit, homoerotic tension, and black magic
