Celebrated in Asia for more than 1,000 years, the 27th Annual Autumn Moon Festival will be held in Chinatown over two days filled with arts and crafts booths, cultural exhibits, children’s activities, food and multiple parades along historic Grant Avenue between California Street and Columbus Avenue.

For the last 26 years, the streets of Chinatown have been a lively center of celebration for thousands of people during the AT&T Autumn Moon Festival. This year is no different; the 27th Annual AT&T Autumn Moon Festival produced by the Chinatown

The festivities open with a grand parade on Saturday at 11 am on California and Grant led by civic officials, beauty queens, cultural performers and lion dancers. The famous Dragon appears on Sunday at 5 p.m. as the grand finale of the event.

  • Bargains Galore
    For this weekend, this Chinatown festival will be a bargain shopper’s dream. Thousands of Asian arts and crafts, housewares, plants, jewelry, and beauty products will be for sale at special prices in well-stocked booths covering several city blocks. Several vendors will be on hand to sell all sorts of treats like an assortment of the traditional moon cakes and other unique ethnic foods. In addition, sponsors will be on-hand to provide free gifts, games, and raffles.
