Free Drive-In Movie Night

A good ol’ fashioned night at the drive-in with $1 nachos

The West Wind Drive-in movie theaters in Concord and San Jose host a Free Drive-in Movie Night, plus a festival with $1 nachos,  live music and games.

All movies are double features. Admission is free so pack your car full of friends and don’t worry about getting caught sneaking people in.

Gates open at 6 pm. Films start at dusk. Arrive early.

Remember the Drive-In? If you haven’t been to a good ol’ fashioned drive in movie in a while, head to The Solano drive-in (yes – an old school drive in where you listen to the movie on FM) in Concord or the Capitol 6 Drive-In in San Jose for double features.

Solano 2 Drive In – 1611 Solano Way – Concord

  • Captain America: The Winter Soldier at 8:00 PM followed by Blended at 10:35 PM
  • How to Train Your Dragon 2 at 8:00 PM follwed by Maleficent at 10:05 PM

Capitol 6 Drive In – 3630 Hillcap Avenue – San Jose

  • Captain America: The Winter Soldier at 8:00 PM followed by Blended at 10:40 PM
  • Blended at 8:00 PM followed by Captain America: The Winter Soldier at 10:20 PM
  • Maleficent at 8:00 PM followed by How to Train Your Dragon 2 at 10:00 PM
  • How to Train Your Dragon 2 at 8:00 PM followed by Maleficent at 10:05 PM

Normally tickets are just $7.50 a person for a double feature and Tuesday nights are $5 (and kids 11 and under are just $1) – a 1970s style bargain.
