Super Bowl 50 is set to take place at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, home of the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday, February 7, 2016. For the first time in Super Bowl history, the game will be branded with the Arabic numeral 50 instead of the Roman Numeral ‘L’.

Of course we realize that tickets to the game aren’t free, but we want to make sure you’re ready for Super Bowl madness to take over San Francisco. If you think the Bay is usually hopping on Super Bowl Sunday, just wait until the game actually comes to town.

Highlights include Saturday Night Lights on January 30th with a free concert from Chris Isaak, a fireworks show and the re-lighting of the Bay Lights.

And The City Stage (Sue Bierman Park, near Justin Herman Plaza) will have free headlining concerts starting February 3 with singer-songwriter Matt Nathanson, followed by country group The Band Perry on February 4, and pop rock band One Republic on February 5. In addition to One Republic, Friday, Febraury 5th will feature a second Fireworks Show.

Located in Justin Herman Plaza within Super Bowl City, the Fan Stage is being produced in conjunction with e2k events and will be the “live” area of the Fan Energy Zone, serving as a presentation space for community partners, celebrity appearances and photo opportunities, and the main space for the DJs and MCs.
