The United Irish Cultural Center of San Francisco (UICC) and the United Irish Societies team up to throw a special Sunday block party with Irish bands and Irish dancing, Irish food and drinks for sale, and face painting and jumpy castles for the kids.

45th Avenue Green Fest Block Party
Sunday, March 12, 2017 | 11 am to 4 pm
45th Avenue at Sloat, Outer Sunset
FREE and open to the public

We’re told that after the block party there’s more live music at the Irish Cultural Center until late

Please note that the flier and Facebook say the event is from 11am to 4pm, but the website says 10am to 5pm.

About the United Irish Cultural Center of San Francisco: The UICC is a nonprofit organization founded to provide social, recreational, and cultural activities for its members. As the Irish “hub” of the Bay Area, they host all kinds of events (Irish or not) and are the “go-to” place for the month of March and all St. Patrick’s Day festivities. These events, especially the live music, are awesome for young professionals, families, you name it. The bar is particularly fun during these events.
