Hawaii Fest & Pop-Up Luau

Hawaii comes to SF with a free day of lei making, a mini luau & kona coffee | Friday

Share the warm aloha spirit and come to a free pop-up luau at the “Aloha on Ice” Hawaiian Festival at the Holiday Ice Rink at Embarcadero Center presented by Hawaiian Airlines on December 7, 2012.

And while not a full-on luau (we don’t expect to see a giant pig at this event) it still should be a tasty way to sample at bit of island fare. 

This favorite seasonal attraction will transform into an island paradise, complete with the sights, sounds and tastes of the Hawaiian Islands.

Ice skaters and passersby can look forward to:

  • Sampling Hawaiian luau fare by Hyatt Resorts and Spas in Hawaii’s executive chefs
  • Fresh flower lei making
  • Getting their picture taken in paradise – or at least in front of a background of it – in the Aloha on Ice photo booth
  • Hawaiian music
  • Kona coffee and hot cocoa
  • A chance to win a trip to Hawaii courtesy of Hyatt Resorts and Spas in Hawaii and Hawaiian Airlines
