Club Mighty (named “Best Place for a Late Night Dance Party” by ABC7’s “The Bay Area A List”)  is transforming itself into “For the Love of Disco” on Friday night into a one-night-only ’70s retro discotheque with disco classics old and new pumped through the world famous Paradise Garage sound system with DJ Sol along with Big Fat Frog.

At 12am, get your groove on for the midnight disco dance contest and show your best Travolta moves for a chance at $200. Or pull out your widest powder blue lapels and giant ‘fro and try to win the $150 prize for the Disco Costume Contest.

Dance to Disco History:  That’s right, the actual sound system from the iconic Paradise Garage discotheque (1976-1987) that was in Hudson Square neighborhood of New York City was shipped cross country and reassembled right here in SF at Mighty. That’s disco history!
