Think of this as American Idol… for scientists. FameLab is a panel-judged competition to find the new voices of science across the world. Come cheer on these brave souls – vote for your favorite – and journey with them to the cutting edge of exploring Earth and beyond.

Started in 2005 in the UK, this event is the kickoff to “Season 3” here in the US. Ten young scientists will spin tall-but-true tales of climate change, planets orbiting other stars, the origins of life, futuristic batteries, and much more – in three powerpoint-free minutes each.
