Orange OctoberIt’s not just Fridays or the Giants that are orange anymore.

In honor of the Giants’ 2012 World Series Championship, buildings and structures all over the city are decking themselves out with support.

The San Francisco Giants flag will  fly over City Hall; City Hall and Coit Tower will remain bathed in orange lights for Orange October and will  be joined by the Ferry Building, the War Memorial, the Opera House and the City’s Official Tree in front of McLaren Lodge.

And the private sector is joining the bandwagon as the Embarcadero Center, the TransAmerica Pyramid, and other San Francisco buildings will soon be lit in Giants Orange.

The amazing photo of Coit Tower is from Alan Grinberg

And the Golden Gate Bridge? Its official color is “International Orange” so they’re already set.
