Zagat featured these secret garden getaways hidden in the city that will give you an escape from those hipsters slacklining in Dolores Park.

Take your usual coffee break to somewhere more scenic and less concrete. Split your kale salad with a friend while the two of you enjoy the scenery these cafes have to offer.

San Francisco spots like Reverie Cafe in Cole Valley, Arlequin on Hayes, and Blue Plate on the Lower Mission were featured on Zagat’s list for having awesome backyard patios. They’re especially great spots for lunch breaks or afternoon chats with your crush.

Now if only these patios featured kale gardens because then you’d totally have a salad buffet ready for feasting.
