It was announced Tuesday that the first-ever Bay Area Shake Shack will open in Palo Alto at Stanford Shopping Center (180 El Camino Real) in the fall of 2018 – with future locations considered for Marin and SF’s Marina District hopefully in 2019.

Shake Shack is a well-loved East Coast “roadside” burger stand that fans of Super Duper,  In-n-Out and Five Guys will probably love.

About Shake Shack: Shake Shack is a modern day “roadside” burger stand known for its 100% all-natural Angus beef burgers, chicken sandwiches and flat-top Vienna beef dogs (no hormones or antibiotics – ever), spun-fresh frozen custard, crinkle cut fries, craft beer and wine (available at select locations) and more.

Since the original Shack opened in 2004 in NYC’s Madison Square Park, the company has expanded to more than 100 locations in 19 U.S. States and the District of Columbia, and more than 50 international locations including London, Istanbul, Dubai, Tokyo, Moscow, Seoul and more.
