By - posted 9/12/2017

2017 brings San Francisco the 17th annual Hardly Strictly Bluegrass festival, one of the largest, free-est and beloved music festivals in the country. Be one of over 750,000 attendees over the three-day musical extravaganza in beautiful Golden Gate Park.

The full 2017 lineup has been released, and it’s awesome. Highlights for this year include Friday (First Aid Kit, Conor Oberst, Brandi Carlile, T Bone Burnett, Billy Bragg), Saturday (Bela Fleck, Robyn Hitchcock, Ozomatli, Henry Rollins, Patty Griffin, Gillian Welch, Steve Earle), and Sunday (Emmylou Harris, Bob Mould, Cheap Trick, Shelby Lynne & Alison Moorer, Randy Newman, Jello Biafra, Lucinda Williams, Big Freeda).

Also to help assist crowd flow some of the stages have been reconfigured which has resulted in a brand new Acoustic Stage for 2017, called “La Victrola” (replacing “The Arrow Stage”) featuring spoken word and solo acoustic. Plus, The Hellman museum will be expanded to include “Beautiful Dancer,” a tribute to Chris Hellman who passed away this year.
