They will gather to share their favorite short writings: brief passages, quotations, poems, sayings, proverbs, and “pearls of wisdom”– because paradoxically, great meaning can sometimes come in small packages. Centuries ago, many people copied such favorite excerpts from books they had read into “commonplace books”; some were later published.

Join them for words to shed light in the foggiest month, in the foggiest part of town — inspired by the Summer of Love’s spirit of seeking and sharing.
