Event Details

Classical Revolution presents a free neighborhood performance with “nuevo chamber” The Musical Art Quintet and guest artists Scow, Szemela, and belly dance by Elana Brutman.

This concert takes place in the lobby of the Brava Theater and is free and open to the public.

The Musical Art Quintet was formed in 2008 during chamber music jam sessions at Cafe Revolution. Each week a new piece of music was written to be performed at Classical Revolution, and ink still wet, they would read through the piece in front of a live audience.

What’s Nuevo Chamber? It’s Classical Revolution’s name for this new genre that blends world music influences with a chamber music ensemble, infusing rhythms from Argentina, Cuba, Africa, Jazz, Classical and Electronica into our own style of music.

Please note that the showing of 52 Man Pickup at 8pm at the Brava Theater is not included with this show and requires purchased tickets.
