Come join The Watershed Project staff for Coastal Cleanup Day, the state’s largest shoreline cleanup project. On this international day of action, volunteers are needed to remove massive amounts of debris that accumulates on our beaches and inland shorelines. Together, you can help protect marine habitat and beautify your beaches. Bring your families and friends.

All materials are provided, but bring your own reusable items- plastic baskets, bags, gloves and water bottles- if you can. Sand sifters are also useful on the beach. Wear boots or shoes that can get dirty, and protect yourself from too much sun.

Contact them for further information at coastalcleanup@thewatershedproject.org, 510-665-3430. Please RSVP for groups of 10 or more.
