The Compost Giveaway 2012 | SF

The Compost Giveaway is a pilot program running from January to March of 2012 (or until the compost runs out) offering San Francisco residents free compost up to 5-gallons at a time.

The compost is offered in partnership with Garden For the Environment, SF Environment, REcology and SF Unified School District.  During this pilot program, we will evaluate the demand for this resource and determine the required needs to operate this service for San Francisco resident’s long term.

>> Update: Unfortunately, they’ve run out of compost for 2012.
