Country Dance Hoe Down & Farmers’ Market | Emeryville

The streets of Bay Street will come alive with a foot stompin’ Farmers’ Market and Country Dance Hoe Down, complete with free country dance lessons, July 18, August 16, and September 12, 2015.

Dubbed the Bay Street Farmers’ Market Farm to Table-Dance, this festive day promises good old fashion country time fun. Locals and visitors are invited to stroll the streets and shop for the freshest local fruits, vegetables, fish, organics, cheeses, baked goods, cut flowers, crafted preserves, honeys, oils and more, provided by the Pacific Coast Farmers’ Market Association.

A free reusable market bag will be given to the first 500 shoppers each day. Attendees are encouraged to wear their boots and learn all the cool country-dance moves from Professional Dance Instructor Tytus Bergtrom. Bergrstrom will provide free country-dance lessons followed by a Hoe Down for all to enjoy.
