Craft Bar with Etsy Labs: T-Shirt Recycling Workshop | SOMA
>> Want to see our Top Picks for this week instead?
Fall is coming – time to put away that tee shirt you’ve been living in all summer. Why not revamp it? This September, Craft Bar goes green with a night of tee shirt recycling! Bring an old tee shirt (or use one of ours which are donated by Buffalo Exchange) and turn it into a fun project.
Not quite ready for your favorite tee to start a new life? Craft Bar @ MOCFA SF will be offering perennial favorite the stitch n bitch, with drop-in instruction in knitting and crocheting. Don’t forget to take inspiration from the gallery and the store while you explore the creative process.
Refreshments provided by Trumer Pils.
Craft Bar is included $5 admission to the gallery, (featuring Clare Rojas: We They, We They) and all materials and instructions for the craft. Resident crafter Amelia Strader will be doing the Etsy Virtual Lab at 1 PM on September 2nd—be sure to check it out if you can’t make it to Craft Bar.
