Community Music Day is Crowden’s annual free musical carnival for the entire family. This year marks the 20th Annual Community Music Day. Come celebrate with us, Crowden-style on October 20th at 10 am.

Featured Activity Lineup:

  • Instrument Petting Zoos: ‘Pet’ and learn to make sounds on all the different instruments in an orchestra
  • Very First Concerts with the San Francisco Chamber Orchestra: 20-minute concerts designed just for wriggly toddlers. This year’s Very First Concerts theme is: With Strings Attached.
  • Musical performances for kids, by kids: featuring Crowden School ensembles
  • East Bay Music Together and Crowden class demos: early childhood music
  • Music and Activities with the Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra: Members of Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra (PBO) will perform a mini-concert in the auditorium, followed by the popular composition activity “PBO’s Music, By Kids, for Kids.”
  • Instrument-making crafts
  • Face painting
  • Music sale, and more
