Event Details

The Crucible’s Fireside Lounge is an intimate evening of art, industry, community, and entertainment on October 28, 2016 from 6:30-9:30 pm.

They’ll have studio demonstrations and hands-on activities in multiple classes including glass fusing & slumping, glass flameworking, glass blowing, glass casting & coldworking, enameling, neon, bike, machine shop, and paper & textiles.

They will also have live performances of fire eating, poi, and fire staff, as well as interactive fire effects.

The event highlights The Crucible’s local dreamers and creators, as they host some of the Bay Area’s most influential makers and artists. The Crucible’s Fireside Lounge illuminates the world of original artists, collectives, and innovators who create movements “Made in Oakland.”
