cherub 250x220 Cupid Gets Stupid Valentines Pub Crawl | Mission Dist.First there was Santarchy, “Night of 1,000 Lincolns”  and Pantless BART day and their costumed flash-mobby pub crawls. Now it’s time to brave the chilly San Francisco winter and dress like a cherub (yes, wearing wings, and dear God, please hopefully some sort of loin cloth) and crawl around the Mission with other underdressed hipsters drinking up a storm.

There’s no schedule posted on the official website and there’s no specific instructions so you should come prepared for a totally unorganized and possibly unintentionally hilarious site of dozens of people wearing no pants trying to get into bars.

  • Meet at 2pm on Saturday, February 13, 2010 at 16th and Mission near the BART entrance.
    Bar Crawl Order
    1) Elixir
  • 2) Gestalt Haus
    3) Delerium
    4) Blondie’s Bar and No Grill
    5) Casanova
    6) Bissap Baobab
    7) Doc’s Clock

Dear fellow cherub compatriots. Are you likely to be pissed off this Valentine’s day for one of the following reasons:

1. Recent dumping by significant other?
2. General hatred of hallmark holidays?
3. Because God hates you?
4. You’re just an ass in general (like in a good way)?

If you answered yes to at least 0.5 of the above sentiments, you should unite this Valentine’s day to liberate you and your fellow cherubs…by drinking in a costumed pub crawl! The concept is simple. Dress up as a cupid. Spread your love. Imbibe. Repeat.
