Event Details

Cool Effect, a Bay Area based non-profit crowdfunding to fight climate change, is bringing together thought leaders in policy, climate, non-profit and sustainable storytelling to discuss how they can come together to raise awareness, enlist support and most importantly, take action to verifiably reduce carbon emissions.

Cool Effect is thrilled to be hosting a curated forum moderated by Triple Pundit’s founder and publisher Nick Aster, with panel members including Marisa de Belloy, COO of Cool Effect, Jamie Redford, Chairman and Co-Founder of The Redford Center, Kate Brandt, Lead for Sustainability at Google, Valorie Aquino, National Co-chair of The March for Science, and Denney Pham, Social Impact Partnerships Manager at Participant Media representing An Inconvenient Sequel: Truth to Power.

In the true spirit of California’s stewardship in environmental action, we’re also excited to share the stage with Environment California, who will be honoring Congressman Jared Huffman with an award for his incredible dedication and work in advancing environmental policy.

8:30 AM – Doors open, breakfast served
9:00 AM – Panel begins
9:50 AM – Congressman Jared Huffman award presentation
10:00 AM – Q&A
10:30 AM – Event concludes
