Event Details

“Curves and Curls” is a collection of figure paintings and drawings by animation artist Hanna S. Abi-Hanna.

In his playful renditions of curvy nudes, Hanna experiments with exaggerated proportions and elegantly contorted figures to produce emotionally provoking compositions.

Hanna S. Abi-Hanna is a character animator and designer of Lebanese origin. He started his career as a graphic designer in Beirut, Lebanon, but soon found his passion in character animation. In 2004, he moved to San Francisco to pursue a graduate degree in traditional animation, and continues to live and work in the city as a teacher and independent animator. In his spare time, Hanna likes to experiment with different mediums and creative outlets, like music, painting, and figure drawing.
