Cyberpunk Cinema Night | Mission Dist.

Cyberpunk Cinema, by Thrillhouse Records, presents cyberpunk movie classics at The Knockout in the Mission every second Monday of the month from 6:30-9 pm.

They’ll show one episode of Cowboy Bebop at 6:30 pm, followed by the feature film. Use #cyberpunkcinema during the event to share trivia, thoughts or squishy human feelings on the HD projection screen.

Cowboy Bebop: Knocking on Heavens Door (2001)

All the fun of the series packed into a high budget anime of the highest order!  Join the charismatically damaged space cowboys as they battle a biochemical threat on Mars!  Will ex-gangster Spike find a terrorist holy land arch nemesis?  Can Faye finally get her big-catch bounty redemption?  Will Jet, Ein and Ed land into dangerous hijinx?

Featuring the same recipe that made the series so great, including Yoko Kanno’s music and the definitive animation style.  Think of this flick as as the Serenity of Firefly.

Featuring Mars, Terrorism and the Astral Gate accident.  Directed by Shinichiro Watanabe.
