Cyberpunk Cinema Night | Mission Dist.
Cyberpunk Cinema, by Thrillhouse Records, presents cyberpunk movie classics at The Knockout in the Mission every second Monday of the month from 6:30-9 pm.
They’ll show one episode of Cowboy Bebop at 6:30 pm, followed by the feature film. Use #cyberpunkcinema during the event to share trivia, thoughts or squishy human feelings on the HD projection screen.

Demolition Man (1993)
The ultraviolence of the 1990’s leads to a sterile, aggression-free, chromed techtopia where Taco Bell is the only dining option, sex is had through virtual headset, language is monitored by Echo, and everyone is C-3PO polite about personal space. Enter cryogenically improved super-villain Wesley Snipes and thawed-out seamstress Sylvester Stallone, who go around blowing things up, swearing/sweating profusely, and getting in action fights 90’s style (taglines and all).
Featuring Dennis Fucking Leary, Sly Stallone, Blade, Sandra Bullock before The Net, Bob Shawshank Warden, Teleconferencing, and the early prediction of President Schwarzenegger. Also Jesse Ventura, Jack Black and Rob Schneider. Directed by Marco Brambilla
