Total Recall (1990)

Watch the extended, “mindbending” director’s cut of the brutal classic Total Recall. Based on a Phillip K. Dick story, and at one time penned to feature Richard Dryfus as Quaid, Total Recall is a fistful of futurescape Verhoeven: violence, nudity, mouthy androids and idiotic TV segments. Is it possible that a lowly protein-pumped construction worker is actually a double-secret agent? Can he resolve an interplanetary conflict involving multiple realities, Martian mutants, and effective holo-tech? How many read/write cycles does the human brain have anyhow?

Forget the flimsy remake and check out the original featuring Arnold Schwarzenegger, the New Brutalism Architecture of Mexico City, Fatal Attraction, Valles Marineris, OCP Dick and Old Ironsides.
