Event Details

New archaeological research into 19th-century SoMa and the earlier Spanish Presidio highlights how women and children participated in the hard work of everyday life alongside soldiers, sailors, and miners. Archaeologists Kari Lentz and Teresa Bulger and Heritage Technician Montserrat Osterlye of the Presidio Trust present their findings about early San Francisco.
