Come join them for an open rehearsal accompanied by donuts & mimosas.
Imagery dancers and choreographers will give you a peek at the ballets to be performed at Sketch 6. Followed by a moderated discussion lead by Mary Ellen Hunt.
Use your words centers on the use of text and language: poems, literature and songs.Three generations of ballet choreographers: Amy Seiwert (Imagery, Smuin Ballet), San Francisco legend Val Caniparoli (San Francisco Ballet) and emerging choreographer Nicole Haskins (Smuin Ballet), will create three world premieres inspired by this year’s theme, as well as the reprisal of Adam Hougland’s “Cigarettes” (2011).
Free but an RSVP is required.
