Event Details

What is the essence of Japan? Find out for yourself through Landscape Products’ pop up shop at Heath, Dashi Katachi. Dashi is the legendary broth of Japan – the foundation for both food and culture. Katachi is the coming together of form and meaning in both activities and products. Dashi Katachi, which runs from January 21 through much of February, is your chance to explore both.

Free, but an RSVP is required.

The opening reception of Dashi Katachi on January 23, 2015, will celebrate the essence of modern Japan. Meet the makers whose work is included in the pop up, and indulge in some delicious Japanese food, sake and shochu (these are most likely for purchase).

Then, over the weekend, pick up some skills (class fees apply) you weren’t even aware you needed. Don’t you need to learn how to make a brass spoon, for example? Here’s your chance.
