Dave Eggers and Mokhtar Alkhanshali, the subject of Dave’s new book, The Monk of Mokha, will be stopping by The Bindery as a part of their book mobile tour of the Bay Area, in partnership with the SF Public Library—join them for this free, all-ages event.

The Monk of Mokha tells the incredible true story of a Yemeni-American man, raised in San Francisco, who dreams of resurrecting the ancient art of Yemeni coffee but finds himself trapped in Sana’a by civil war.

Join them in welcoming Dave and Mokhtar for some informal conversation about the new book, complimentary coffee, and the chance to purchase an exclusive early signed copy of the book.
