How much do you love vampries? Enough to be a corporate whore? In what looks an awful lot like a studio-run attempt at faux-grass-roots marketing and getting people to work for free here’s a “Daybreakers” Flashmob stunt being organized at the Westfield Mall under the dome to help promote the new movie staring Ethan Hawke.
People are requested to come wearing as much black as possible and make your skin look pale. You’ll receive fangs and Daybreakers sunglasses (to keep) from the lead Vampires in charge and then you’ll receive directions from your corporate elders when you arrive.
Meeting point is under the dome in the Westfield Mall
Could be fun, could be selling your soul… but what else are you going to do on the Tuesday before New Years, there’s just not a whole hell of a lot going on.

Did they change the calendar this year? Mine says Dec. 29 comes AFTER Xmas in 2009 … but then mine is a really cheap-ass calendar.
A mainstream $100+-million movie seeks free publicity by trying to start a vampire flash mob for free? Heh-heh-heh betcha all the chubby drooling chumps who show up in vampire capes for this event are exactly the folks the studio had in mind for promoting this turdpile, er, I mean, movie.
The free sunglasses might be cool, tho…
