The Fillmore is a neighborhood rich with amazing stories, fascinating characters, and hidden gems. Discover historic sites and modern-day storefronts by sight, sound, touch, and interaction with locals.

Let a community member give you the inside scoop into the history and community stories. They plan on making pit stops along Fillmore street from Post to Eddy and back. The Fillmore is a historic neighborhood in San Francisco that was once known as the Harlem of the West.

It’s a multi-cultural neighborhood that has attracted people from all over the world, including world class musicians and artists. It has witnessed the upheavals of the 1906 Earthquake, World War II, Urban Renewal in the 1970s, and up till the current Tech Boom in Silicon Valley.

The tour will be about an hour, so wear comfortable walking shoes. Free but an RSVP is required.
