Celebrate Drink Steam Week 2019
Anchor Brewing Company will once again celebrate America’s first craft beer, Anchor Steam, with the return of Drink Steam Week from August 11-18, 2019 with events, drink specials, limited-release pours and happenings across the country (but mostly here in San Francisco) to celebrate Anchor’s rich history.

Most events are free (some required paid tickets as noted below), but bring cash for beer
For August, they have a special Meet the Brewers night as they visit SF’s legendary Anchor Brewing Company. Come chat with the Anchor team, enjoy special samplers — including trying three rare limited release brews — and check out a Beer Education Station, featuring different ingredients and where you can touch/smell/taste unique varieties of whole-cone hop and a wide range of malts, plus learn about Anchor’s in-house yeast strains and traditional brewing process, which includes open fermentation.
Note: Shuttles stop approx. every 10 minutes between the venues, so it’s easy to ‘hop on, hop off’ at any stop. Riders can download the Chariot app to track shuttles in real time (reg req’d for the app, but no reservations necessary to ride the shuttle).
